A little About Me I am a native of Tucson however I spent much of my adult life living and teaching in the Chicago area. I grew tired of the Chicago's winters and moved back to Tucson in August 2007. I am a true desert rat and love the sunshine!
I chose to become a Physical Education teacher for many reasons. However, the most important reason is that teaching P.E. allows me to have a tremendous impact on the lives of my students now and in their future. I always tell my students, that I hope that I will be whispering gentle reminders about a healthy lifestyle even when they are adults. When I am not busy with my teaching profession, I am most likely to be pursuing my passion participating in triathlons. I love to run, bike, and swim! I am very active with Team In Training (TNT). TNT is a national organization whose mission to support the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society while participating in endurance events. |
